HFC Bank CEO Mr. Isikeli Tikoduadua after a marathon 40 years in the Banking Industry has elected to retire and spend time to enjoy family life while still fit. Travel is also on the agenda as is sporting and outdoor activities.
Mr. Tikoduadua has had extensive financial industry experience which included Senior roles with international banks such as BNZ and ANZ. He has also been the CEO of HFC since July, 2008 and during his tenure, was responsible for the conversion of HFC from a Credit Institution to a Commercial Bank in 2014. This has been both challenging and rewarding as well as historic for Fiji as HFC is now the only Commercial Bank that is fully locally owned. Mr. Tikoduadua attributes these achievements to his team at HFC Bank, the Chairman and HFC Bank Board, the Shareholders and Regulators and most importantly the CUSTOMERS of HFC Bank for their unwavering support. He has over the years contributed to the strong business that HFC Bank is today, a fantastic partner to our business CUSTOMERS and to the talent at HFC bank that provides our client’s the best service. Mr. Tikoduadua says that with his successor, the Bank will continue to grow into a bigger and better operation. This is the people’s Bank!
Chairman Mr. Tom Ricketts is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Ross Munn as the new CEO for HFC Bank and welcomes both Ross and his spouse Victoria to Fiji. Ricketts extends his sincere thanks to the outgoing CEO Tikoduadua for his dedication and hard work over the years and particularly for converting HFC into a commercial bank. Tikoduadua will finish his term in office at the end of June 2016.
Chairman Mr. Tom Ricketts says “Mr. Munn brings to HFC Bank a breadth and depth of experience in Commercial and Retail banking plus financial markets. He has held senior positions with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) in New Zealand, Australia and Vietnam. CBA is the No. 1 bank in Australia. He is not new to Fiji and has had past experience with the Banking industry here in 2005 -2007 as the General Manager of Colonial National Bank.
Mr. Munn is a very experienced Banker and has had notable achievements across all the countries where he has led successful teams and has grown the business in challenging economies. He brings with him specialist experience across all areas of banking and will certainly contribute to the Banking industry and Fijis economy and take HFC Bank to greater heights.
Mr. Ricketts adds that HFC is grateful to Mr. Tikoduadua for his tremendous contribution over the years and wishes his successor, Mr. Munn all the best for the next step in this journey.
