Telecom Fiji Limited (TFL) and Connect Internet Services along with financier Home Finance Company Limited (HFC) is offering customers bundles where they can purchase items that will enable them to access the World Wide Web through a financial arrangement with HFC.
This means customers can expect financing arrangements with HFC to purchase laptops, printers, mobile phone handsets along with internet access services bundled to provide customers with everything they need to get on the internet and keep abreast with research, news items, social media and other opportunities available via the internet.
“TFL and it’s internet service provider, Connect is very much aware of the role the internet plays in our everyday lives, we understand that a major obstacle to accessing valuable information available via the internet is the cost of purchasing either a laptop or desktop PC, so we have partnered with HFC to give customers a quick financing option to help them keep abreast with what is happening around them, explained TFL’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ivan Fong.
In today’s educational environment, most of the students are reliant on research via the Internet for their projects and research and there has been a drive from the Government to ensure that broadband is available to as many people as possible. “We are mindful of Government’s initiative to “Broadband the Nation” and as a Company which has brought many firsts to Fiji in the telecommunications space, it is only right that we take the lead in the drive to making internet access available to nation and we are proud to partner with HFC to make this happen,” said Mr. Fong.
Speaking at the launch of Quick Finance with HFC, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Isikeli Tikoduadua
said “We are pleased to be part of TFL’s initiative and as a financier we understand that it is imperative we have an offer for our customers that are value added to their livelihood.”
“HFC will provide financial assistance to customers working with the TFL group to deliver the products and services to it’s customer,” Tikoduadua explained. “In this day and age we recognize that there is a demand for laptops, printers and the likes but customers do not have the type of finance required to purchase these items with cash, so HFC has stepped in to provide the financing needed for customers to be able to purchase these items,” Tikoduadua added.
