Free Bird Institute Ltd or FBL and Fijian Holdings Ltd or FHL were the two stocks recording trading activities on the SPSE trading platform last week.
Price gains were recorded for FBL, which gained 5 cents to close the week a $2.35 and FHL gained 1 cent to close at $4.19.
On the back of the FBP and FHL share price gain, the overall market capitalisation increased by 0.02 percent and concluded the week at a value of $1.353 billion. The SPSE Total Return Index posted a gain of 0.01 percent to conclude the week at a value of 3271.67.
FHL declared to pay $3.686 million as an interim dividend for the six months ending 31 December 2016. The dividend payout will see both classes of shares receive a dividend rate of 12.1 cents per share.
Amalgamated Telecom Holdings also paid its interim dividend of $8.44 million or 2 cents per share for the six months ending 30th September 2016 last week Friday
