The U.S. stocks slipped on Thursday pressured by healthcare shares after proposals in President Donald Trump’s budget signalled higher regulatory costs for the sector and a cut in federal funding for medical research.
In terms of economic news, we have the United States Industrial Production for the month of February which is anticipated to increase from -0.3% to 0.2%.
Meanwhile, German Chancellor Angela Merkel has flown to Washington to meet Donald Trump for the first face-to-face meet since the newly elected president came to office. The world shall await results from their meeting.
All of this will have an impact on our Fijian dollar and we’ll see its effects next week.
