Market Update 12-04-17

Japan’s Nikkei share average fell yesterday and the S&P 500 was still on track for its worst day in three weeks as geopolitical tensions in North Korea rises.
The Nikkei dropped 0.3 percent while the Dow Jones was down 0.23 percent and the S&P 500 was down 0.42 percent.
According to Reuters, North Korea state media warned of a nuclear attack on the United States at any sign of American aggression as a U.S. Navy strike group steamed toward the western Pacific.
Investors have sought shelter in gold, resulting in the increase in gold price, U.S. Treasuries and the Japanese yen which continues to strengthen due to its demand.
