It is mandatory to access Internet & Mobile Banking via our HFC Bank website www.hfc.com.fj as this helps ensure your financial information remains private and secure. You will know you are at a secured site when you see the https:// (where ´s´ stands for ´secure´) in the address field on your browser and the padlock symbol in locked position on your screen.
Because the security of our site is important to you and us, page expiration occurs to prevent the pages from being stored in your browser´s memory and potentially accessible to other people or malicious programs. This feature is included to ensure the confidentiality of your accounts. Navigation is best using the built in menus and buttons within the Internet Banking pages, rather than using the browser’s forward and backward arrows.
This is especially important if you must use a public Internet service and computer, such as at a library or hotel when you are traveling. Page expiry prevents anyone from using the browser’s back button once you have left and possibly obtaining account information.
Always sign out of Internet and Mobile Banking to close the active session.
You will need to contact our Call Centre Staff immediately, who will confirm your identity and issue a new password. As a precaution, you should verify all transactions viewed in Internet and Mobile Banking against paper-based statements issued on your accounts. If necessary, you can order up to date statements. This should assist you in spotting any suspicious transactions.
