HFC Adopts M‐PAiSA Platform

HFC customers will have additional means of either receiving or paying money. HFC is a Vodafone M‐PAiSA agent for sometime and today’s signing of the agreement enhances the platform.

With this, HFC customers will be able to use M‐PAiSA platform to pay loan repayment or even have loan funds disbursed to them. “Technology has made outreach easier and with our agenda to grow, this connectivity to the customers is quite essential”, said Chief Executive Officer, Isikeli Tikoduadua. “Now

our customers at the convenience of the Vodafone M‐PAiSA will be able to meet repayment. This also includes those residing in Australia and New Zealand, who can channel their payments through Lotus Foreign Exchange,” he added.

M‐PAiSA is a system operated by Vodafone that provides convenient and safe mobile money transfer. HFC customers can also use the platform to deposit money into their HFC TermSAVER accounts too. People in the outer island, if they are visiting the mainland during the holidays, can open HFC Term SAVER accounts with a minimum opening balance of $50 and thereafter can send deposits as and when they want to. This platform will also assist customers who want insurance policy to cover funeral expenses (HFC Funeral Policy) with payment of only $2 per week for cover of $5000 to $12000. “It is all about convenience and providing quick and efficient financial solution for our customers here and abroad, who can complete the transaction from their dinner table” stated Isikeli Tikoduadua.

“Vodafone is delighted to partner HFC with this ground breaking technology,” said Shailendra Prasad Manager Corporate Affairs and M‐PAiSA. This medium will make it more convenient and cost effective HFC clients to make their loan repayments as well as receive loan disbursements. HFC has recently ventured into some innovative products including micro‐finance schemes. M‐PAiSA will make it very convenient and cost effective for HFC clients to be able to service their commitments without the need to travel to HFC. The service is free of charge for HFC clients with payment received instantly by HFC.

HFC staffs have gone through training programs for such services by Vodafone and with the launch, some of the customers were also taken through process.
