Opening Ceremony
The Official Opening of HFC Centre's new office's and branch operations on 13th September 2006 marked a historic date on HFC's calendar. This event is a significant milestone in HFC's history. Chief Guest of the official opening, His Excellency the Vice President of the Republic of the Fiji Islands, Ratu Joni Madraiwiwi commented that the event marked the end point of HFC's metamorphosis from home finance lending institution to another player in the banking industry.
The HFC corporate flag, was also unveiled by Dr. Peter Mario the General Manager of Unit Trust of Fiji. HFC is the first finance company to have been given approval from His Excellency, The President of the Republic of Fiji Islands, Ratu Josefa Iloiloivuda to use the Fiji Islands Flag to be incorporated in the now know HFC Corporate Flag.
This website was also officially launched on this auspicious occasion by the former chairman of HFC the Chairman & Managing Director of Williams & Gosling, Mr. Cyril Donald Aidney (DFC, MD, OBE, COF).
